Kathmandu, Nepal An aggrieved Nepali wife, Binu Yadav of Solukhumbu, claims she is being denied justice despite filing a complaint against her husband on torture charges.
On Tuesday, Binu Yadav of Solukhumbu demonstrated outside the Supreme Court in Kathmandu by throwing red water at the apex court's main entrance.
Yadav demonstrated by throwing colored water, claiming that her husband had abused her and that she had not received justice despite filing a complaint against him. Police officers on the scene arrested her immediately.
Yadav's case against her husband and in-laws for allegedly subjecting her to physical and mental torture is currently pending in Patan High Court.
Yadav had previously attempted suicide inside Ramechhap District Court.
